Has the projector faded?
Although under the impact of LED and other display methods, the projector market has been greatly affected, but projectors still have unique advantages in visual immersion, super-large screens, and video presentation of irregular objects, so we will still see a lot of them at the exhibition. The figures of projector manufacturers, they have attracted many audiences through colorful displays.
Panasonic has many products, but this time Panasonic’s booth is entirely built by projectors, which shows its confidence in its own brand projectors. Panasonic has 4 projection exhibition areas. The main exhibition area demonstrates the ET-SWR10 high-speed real-time tracking projection system, which can project animation content onto fast-moving targets at a speed of up to 240 frames per second. The stage is full of gorgeous colors. The other three exhibition areas respectively demonstrated projection technologies such as human-computer interaction, immersive space, and 3D stereoscopic, which left a deep impression on the audience.
Dare to let the audience have to scan the QR code to register to enter the exhibition area. It is estimated that Bako is the only one in the entire exhibition hall, showing its confidence in projection. The first thing the audience enters is the exhibition area of “Enjoy the beauty of immersion”. Four sets of F80-4K12 and two sets of UDM-4K30 jointly create an all-round immersive space, and the audience can experience the deep simulation visual experience. Then enter the “Twilight Bathing Beauty” exhibition area, 6 UDM-4K30, 3 G62-W14, 1 G50-W6, combined with various brightness projections, creating a retro atmosphere in Shanghai alleys, the audience seems to be in a corner shop, listening to the live .
Christie uses two 25,300-lumen Christie M 4K+25 RGB laser projectors to present changing content on the 6-meter-wide façade of national-style buildings and character models. The Mystique software equipped with the projectors can calibrate the multi-projector 3D content on the surface, greatly reducing manpower and cost time.
In addition, DP, Sony, Zhongke Aurora, and Shimele also displayed their projector products in a high-profile manner.
What happened to the once glorious DLP video wall?
In the early years, the DLP video wall was one of the well-deserved protagonists at the exhibition, but now it is hard to see. The reporter only saw it in a small display area of the Vtron booth. Who would have thought that the DLP video wall that once dominated the command and dispatch control room would fall into such a situation.
Affected by display methods such as small-pitch LEDs, the DLP video wall has declined in recent years. The reason is not that DLP is not good enough, but that small-pitch LEDs are progressing too fast and being too innovative, forming a strong competitive advantage and trend. Although the DLP video wall has repeatedly innovated, and introduced special products such as high-brightness LED light sources, three-color laser light sources, and ultra-thin models, it has gradually fallen behind due to problems such as price, volume, and market capacity.
However, the DLP video wall is not without market. Weichuang Marketing Director Zhuang Weirong said: The current sales volume of Weichuang DLP video wall is not bad. Compared with LED, DLP video walls still have considerable advantages in terms of security, stability, clarity, and image quality performance, and are still recognized by some high-end users. The entire DLP video wall market has indeed become smaller, but at the same time, DLP video wall manufacturers are also greatly decreasing. The few remaining DLP video wall manufacturers are facing these existing users, and their sales are not bad.
However, the DLP video wall market is too small after all, and the company must develop other products if it wants to advance. Weichuang’s main focus at this exhibition is the “super-integrated screen”, which is a system that uses LED screens as display methods. Weichuang emphasizes that this is a system, not just a screen. The super-integrated screen has opened the first design of “the screen is the system”, which highly integrates many devices and connections separated in the control room, with its own operating system, built-in visualization, built-in signal processing, and built-in control terminal. It has a compact structure and Concise, realize complex system out-of-the-box, one-key start.
Barco and Christie, in the DLP video wall camp, used to be kings. Now the products are still there, but the focus has already shifted to other products such as projectors. There is no trace of DLP video wall at the booth.
As an important manufacturer of DLP video wall, GQY Video has focused on COB. This exhibition brought full-flip-chip COBs with a dot pitch of 0.9 and 1.2, which were jointly exhibited at the Dalian Kedi and Guangzhou Express booths respectively.
The meeting is the most exciting thing
Every epidemic will bring about an upgrade of the conference system and an outbreak of the market. SARS led to the rise of video conferencing, and the new crown epidemic promoted the rapid growth of cloud conferencing and hybrid collaboration markets. Through this exhibition, we can clearly feel that all aspects of professional audio-visual are moving closer to conferences, and conference brand categories account for more than 1/3 of the proportion.
01 Enthusiasm for audio manufacturers meeting
Audio manufacturers themselves are closely integrated with conferences. Now, with the new round of conference market upsurge, they are even more enthusiastic and have launched new products one after another.
Shure’s new ceiling array microphone MXA902 can capture audio from an area of 6 x 6 meters with the microphone as the center, achieving full coverage of small and medium-sized conference rooms, while avoiding conversations and noise interference in other areas; built-in wide coverage speakers, eliminating the need for additional drilling and wiring for external speakers and amplifiers. At the scene, Shure Shure also demonstrated the Stem audio ecosystem, which includes wall and table speakers, ceiling microphones and dedicated control systems, which together form a complete audio package.
Sennheiser also showed the TCC 2 and TCC M series of ceiling array microphones, suitable for large and medium-sized mixed collaboration spaces. Both products adopt Sennheiser’s original technologies such as patented dynamic beamforming technology and TruVoicelift original sound enhancement function, which can realize automatic voice tracking, support camera linkage, and enhance interactivity. For small and medium-sized scenes, Sennheiser released TC Bars intelligent audio and video all-in-one machine, equipped with 4K camera and AI technology, to realize automatic framing and portrait recognition, so that remote participants can clearly see each participant.
Audio-Technica built a remote conference experience room to demonstrate the network interconnection effect of ATND1061 beamforming array microphone and ES954 pendant microphone array. ATND1061 has 6 highly directional dynamic radio beams, and uses voice activity detection algorithm to capture everyone’s speech clearly and naturally. The ES954 is designed with 4 controllable microphone arrays, which can be used with a mixer.
02 AI enters video conferencing
In addition to competing for image quality and sound quality in today’s video conferencing systems, AI has also become a must-have skill. For example, Logitech launched the CC4500E and CC5500E integrated video conferencing systems for medium and large conference rooms. In addition to having a 360-degree viewing angle, dual 4K ultra-high-definition, 7 beamforming microphones, and AI intelligent voice tracking and Rightsight technology and camera linkage. Facing small meeting rooms, the CC4300E ultra-high-definition audio and video all-in-one machine adopts an ultra-wide-angle 4K ultra-high-definition camera and is equipped with Rightsense AI active technology to ensure high-quality meeting experience in small meeting rooms.
The CAM570 displayed by AVER is a dual-lens sound tracking camera equipped with multiple AI technologies. It is equipped with a 36x zoom main lens and a 95° wide-angle fixed-focus AI lens. The motion detection function can automatically adjust the camera angle and zoom to capture everyone. Participants, the smart gallery function uses AI technology to frame each participant, bringing a more natural video conference experience.
Yealink released the MeetingBar A10 smart Android all-in-one videoconferencing machine and the MeetingEye 500 ultra-clear split-type videoconferencing terminal. A10 has 4K ultra-high-definition 120° video, 8-meter long-distance sound pickup, equipped with AI capabilities such as automatic frame portrait, intelligent tracking, and multi-screen portrait. The split design of MeetingEye 500 flexibly adapts to different conference rooms.
03 There are many conference plans
Regardless of professional conference manufacturers or other manufacturers, we have seen conference solutions exhibited, which shows that the conference market is hot.
Jialian has specially set up an exhibition area for corporate conference solutions this time. Deeply integrate the Q-SYS system with Tencent Conference and Sennheiser ceiling-mounted array microphones. On-site users can use the TSC-G3 touch screen to experience Tencent conference functions such as one-key conference, one-key reservation, and conference schedule synchronization. 04 Conference transmission, collection and switching
A good conference experience requires perfect cooperation in all aspects, even video capture equipment cannot be ignored. LED manufacturers are not easy
LED is undoubtedly the brightest part of the exhibition. It has developed particularly rapidly in recent years and the market is booming. But because of this, there are many entrants and the competition is fierce. In order to gain a firm foothold in the forest of strong players, major companies must show their abilities and create bright spots to attract attention.
Every time the Sony Crystal LED black color crystal appears, it will attract crowds, and this time is no exception. This time, Sony showed the new products of Heicaijing BH and CH series, showing stunning visual effects. The two series of new products combine fine-sized LED chips with Sony’s self-developed coating processing technology, built-in X1 processor, and have functions such as 22Bit super bit mapping, real creation and Motionflow, to achieve higher picture quality, and provide quick installation and Easy maintenance.
The highlight of Leyard’s participation in this exhibition is the Micro LED series products, which achieve full coverage of general display (P0.4-P1.8), including transparent screens, black diamond (MIP) series, COB and other new products. Among them, the biggest highlight is the transparent screen (P0.6) using 20*40μm fully flip-chip substrateless Micro LED chips, with a transparency of 60%, a peak brightness of 1500nits, and a viewing angle of 160-176°.
Cedar Electronics attracts the most attention is the COB magic crystal series P0.4, P0.9. This series is an innovative application of LED micro-pitch scientific and technological achievements in the “13th Five-Year Plan” national key research and development plan. Realized HDR dynamic high-definition restoration, 16bit high-definition grayscale, high contrast and refresh rate. It has achieved mass production and supply of COBs with fine pitches below 0.4mm-1.0mm, filling the gap in the large-size LED display market with fine pitches.
The XR virtual shooting solution brought by Qingsong Optoelectronics uses Mini LED display instead of green screen and real scene. The screen is stable and easy to install, the color reproduction is true, the refresh rate is high, and moiré can be effectively reduced. The XR solution includes a full set of virtual shooting equipment except the screen, covering the whole business scene from pre-shooting to post-production. End customers can use this solution to carry out XR virtual shooting in one stop.
The eye-catching point of Alto Electronics is the self-developed U2.5 and C2.5 outdoor naked-eye 3D advertising screens. This product can be seamlessly spliced, has excellent brightness and contrast, and realizes clear and vivid 3D images outdoors. In addition, Alto’s VP virtual studio and XR live broadcast room also attracted many viewers.
